Maybe one of the strongest of the series to date. Building upon books 2 and 3, we finally have some closure with Nika and Tori has been rescued. Tori's ordeal is far from over and I'm sure that later books will give her resolve. Still lots of twists and turns with new plots and moving toward an end game. While categorized as "paranormal romance", Burtcher's books are more than that - really moving into the urban fantasy w/ romance and fantasy genre - I guess it helps to have a super awesome best selling sci fi fantasy writer (Jim Butcher) as her husband. :0)
